Hyundai Motor Chung Mong-Koo Foundation

The Hyundai Motor Chung Mong-koo Foundation is a social innovation foundation that contributes to fostering creative future talent and building a sustainable social innovation ecosystem, based on the entrepreneurial spirit and social contribution philosophy of its founder, Chung Mong-Koo, Honorary Chairman.

Since its establishment in 2007, it has strived to solve social problems through challenge and innovation in the fields of culture, welfare, healthcare, and education, and is developing various projects to ensure the sustainability and advancement of the related ecosystem.

Specifically, the ‘H-OnDream Startup Ground’ is a program that discovers and nurtures impact entrepreneurs challenging social issues through innovative businesses, grounded in the founder's entrepreneurial spirit. It contributes to building a sustainable startup ecosystem through tailored support at each stage and linking collaborative ecosystems.

UNDP Seoul Policy Centre

USPC is one of the Global Policy Centres of UNDP – the United Nations lead agency on international development, working in 170 countries and territories to eradicate poverty and reduce inequality. We are an integral part of UNDP’s Global Policy Network, which draws on expertise globally to provide effective responses to the complex development challenges countries face in achieving SDGs and responding to crises.

Based on UNDP’s work in Korea in the course of its socio-economic development, we facilitate knowledge exchange to create new solutions, build collaborative platforms, and spark new partnerships and instruments for development. We are co-funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea and UNDP, and hosted by Korea University.
